Behind the Scenes: My Photography Process

I don't believe in over-planning or stiff poses. Here is how I scout locations, chase the light, and turn everyday urban corners into stories.

You might be surprised to see me shooting in a parking lot, a junkyard, or a busy traffic crossing. I don't use fancy studios. When we shoot, I’m looking for raw textures, natural light, and the way you move in a space. My goal is to make you comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there, so the photos feel like real moments, not forced poses.

My process is rarely about finding the 'perfect' backdrop; it is about finding the right vibe. When I scout a location, whether it is a quiet corner in Lodhi Garden or an industrial shelf at IKEA, I am looking for the intersection of your personality and the environment.

Why I Shoot on Location

  • Adaptability: Delhi offers everything from the harsh, cinematic light of a city crosswalk to the soft, golden hour glow in the Aravalli hills. I use what is there.
  • Spontaneity: Most of my best shots happen by accident. If it rains or traffic interrupts us, we adjust. That chaos often leads to the most authentic, candid urban photography.
  • Light Control: I play with whatever is available. Sometimes that is the sun, other times it is the blue hour haze or direct flash on a night street.

The Workflow

When we work together, we don't start with a checklist. We start with a conversation. We talk about the story you want to tell, then we find the light and the spot that matches it. You bring the wardrobe, I bring the lens, and we let the environment dictate the flow. If you want a moody, cinematic portrait session or a raw, street-style shoot, we will make it happen in the spaces that define your day-to-day life.
