I do not shoot in studios with standard lights. Whether it is a corner of your home or an IKEA warehouse, I look for textures and light that tell a story. If you have a vintage chair, a messy bookshelf, or just a window with good afternoon light, that is enough to work with.
My approach to indoor photography is simple: I do not want you to pose, I want you to exist. Studios are fine, but they rarely capture the messy, quiet parts of life that actually define us. My sessions are about finding the cinematic in the familiar.
We can shoot in your living room, where the furniture and lighting are already part of your story. Or, we can find a public indoor space—like a quiet corner in a furniture store or a spot with unique architecture—to create a completely different aesthetic.
Technique is secondary. I use fast prime lenses to get that soft background blur, but the real work happens in the connection. If you are comfortable, the camera captures it. We will experiment with shadows, window light, and the environment to create images that feel like stills from a film, not a typical photoshoot. Whether it is a moody series in a dress or a raw lifestyle set, we will build the vibe together.
