This is me, Deepika, in my element, surrounded by plants. Running ByTheLeaf is a journey of passion, from designing landscapes to packing orders, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I still remember the first client who trusted me when I had no portfolio to show. Today, every piece I pack carries that same gratitude, and I personally handle the final styling to ensure it is a thriving little world before it leaves my studio.
Starting this business was never just about selling plants. It was about creating a bit of calm. Whether I am packing an order late at night or helping someone understand that their plant is suffering from over-love rather than neglect, I am involved in every step. I have learned that plants are not just decor; they are living partners. That is why I spend time testing substrate mixes, ensuring drainage is perfect, and choosing plants that actually stand a chance in our local climate.
My goal is to make sure you never have to worry about keeping your plant alive. I want you to enjoy the quiet growth, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the sense of peace that comes with having a living piece of nature on your desk or balcony. If you have an old glass jar sitting around, bring it over. I love the challenge of turning forgotten glass into a thriving mini jungle. It is my way of keeping things sustainable and proving that you do not need a lot of space to start your own little green ecosystem.
