About The Art of Embellishment
While the silhouettes draw the eye, the true signature of our pieces lies in the finishing. We avoid heavy, traditional Zardozi in favor of lighter, precision-placed Swarovski crystals, cut-dana beads, and 3D pearl work. This allows for a garment that catches the light without the weight, ensuring you can move effortlessly throughout your event.
Our approach to embellishment is defined by intentionality. Instead of surface-level coverage, we focus on placement, using techniques that accentuate the human form and the garment's structure.
The Techniques We Use
- Swarovski & Crystals: Used sparingly to catch light, often placed on necklines or cuffs to draw the eye where it matters most.
- 3D Pearl & Beadwork: We utilize hand-sewn pearls to create depth and texture, often in floral or abstract motifs that add a tactile dimension to the fabric.
- Cut-Dana (Glass Beads): Chosen for their matte or reflective finish, these are used to trace the architecture of our corset blouses and sheer capes.
- Mirror Work: A nod to heritage, reimagined with cleaner, geometric borders rather than the traditional dense clusters.
Why It Matters
Conventional couture often relies on volume and weight to project luxury. We take the opposite path. By using lighter materials like organza, viscose satin, and tulle, we can afford to be intricate with our embroidery without compromising the garment's drape. Every crystal is secured with reinforced thread, and our edges are finished with scalloping or heavy borders to ensure the design remains pristine after hours of wear.
If you have a specific vision—perhaps a modification in bead color to match an existing accessory or a request for more subtle detailing—we can adjust these elements during your fitting at our Noida studio.
