About Festive Joy: Diwali & Janmashtami
Planning a festive shoot should not be another chore on your to-do list. I handle the heavy lifting at my Dwarka studio, from the traditional outfits and marigold garlands to the matkis [clay pots] and peacock feathers for Janmashtami. You just bring your children, and I ensure we get those candid smiles without the stress of managing props or finding backdrops yourself.
Festivals are when the house is full of life, but getting that one perfect photo of the kids can be chaotic. At my studio, we swap the chaos for a controlled, magical environment designed specifically for festive themes.
Why Studio Festive Shoots Work
Unlike outdoor shoots where light and weather are unpredictable, my indoor studio in Dwarka allows us to maintain the perfect festive vibe regardless of the season. For Diwali, we use warm, ambient lighting to mimic the glow of diyas, while our Janmashtami setups feature rustic elements like straw mats, peacock feathers, and hand-painted pots to transport your little one to Vrindavan.
What to Expect
My sessions are designed to be low-pressure. If your child is shy or takes time to warm up, we have plenty of props to keep them entertained while I wait for that natural laugh. I provide the costumes—from nanhi si Radha dresses to little kurta-pyjamas—so you do not need to hunt for outfits that fit.
Booking Tips
- Timing: Schedule your session when your child is well-rested and fed. A happy child makes for better photos than a tired one.
- Participation: Parents are welcome to join in. Whether it is a mother-baby Krishna portrait or a sibling Diwali photo, these moments are what you will keep forever.
- Lead Time: Festive slots fill up quickly. I recommend booking at least two weeks before the festival week to ensure we can schedule your shoot during the optimal hours.
