Before we start painting, I need the wall base-coated and primed—it’s the crucial canvas for long-lasting, washable emulsion work. For walls higher than 9ft, please keep a ladder or scaffolding ready. Since these murals take about a week to complete, I love doing a quick site visit or call to align on your vision before I even pick up a brush.

Painting a mural is a different energy than working on a small canvas. It’s an immersive process. We usually start by talking about the vibe—do you want a lush tropical feel, an abstract pop-art statement for your home bar, or something deeply personal like a childhood anime memory?
The Practical Bit
Because I want these pieces to last, I use professional-grade interior emulsion paints. They aren't just beautiful; they’re washable, which is a lifesaver if you’re getting this done for a kid’s bedroom or a high-traffic living area.
- Site Prep: Please ensure your wall is base-coated and primed before I arrive. This ensures the colors pop and adhere perfectly.
- Access: If the wall height exceeds 9ft, I’ll need you to arrange a ladder or scaffolding. Safety first, so we can focus on the art!
- Timeline: A large wall usually takes about a week. It’s a messy, chaotic, and beautiful process, and I love having the family around to see it evolve.
