About My Hair Philosophy & Tips
Before I pick up the scissors, I need to understand your hair's history, from past chemical treatments to its natural elasticity. It is not about following trends blindly, it is about ensuring every cut and color preserves your hair's structural integrity so you leave the studio confident, not damaged.
Hair is Science, Not Just Style
I treat every head of hair as a unique project. My approach is rooted in the precision techniques I learned at Vidal Sassoon, London, but adapted for Indian hair and textures. When you sit in my chair at my DLF Phase 1 studio, we don't start with the cut. We start with a 15-minute diagnostic analysis.
The Consultation Process
- Bond Integrity: I always use Plex bond builders to protect your hair during chemical processes. If your hair is already compromised, I will tell you the truth—even if that means saying no to a specific color or treatment until your hair is healthy again.
- Face Mapping: A haircut should frame your personality. Whether you have an oval, round, or square face, I use layering and texturizing to enhance your natural features rather than fighting against them.
- Routine Building: You spend 60 minutes with me and the rest of the year at home. I focus on practical care routines that actually work for your specific texture, whether that is fine hair that needs volume or curls that need moisture.
Why Transparency Matters
My philosophy is built on 'no-drama' service. I explain the science behind why a shade might fade or why a particular bob cut requires specific maintenance. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge to maintain your look long after you walk out of my salon. If you are ready for a hair transformation that prioritizes health, let's talk.
