Step into our grounds at Palace Grounds and see how we build cricketers from the ground up. Here is a look at the daily grind.

This is the daily grind at my academy. From morning until evening, the grounds are active with players working on their skills in the nets and on the field.

The nets are where technique is honed. This is a typical net session for our younger players, where they face plenty of deliveries to build their confidence and shot selection under a coach's watchful eye.

A glimpse into our weekend practice sessions, which always include a mix of fitness, fielding drills, and net practice for all-round skill development.

This montage shows a typical day at our summer camp, from the entrance of the Brijesh Patel Cricket Academy to intense running drills and net practice.

About this collection

Here, we train on natural red soil wickets, not artificial turf. It is a different game when the ball grips and bounces true; you cannot fake your footwork here. If you are coming to my academy, expect to get your whites dusty, listen to direct feedback on your stance, and put in the work required to fix your basics.

The Training Routine

A day at BPCA is not about shortcuts. Whether you are in the morning or evening session, the structure remains consistent. We start with conditioning—warm-ups, stretching, and running drills. If you are in the senior batches, do not be surprised to see Yo-Yo test protocols. Fitness is non-negotiable.

Net Sessions & Technique

Once the body is warm, we move to the nets. I do not just watch; I correct. We use the hanging ball drill for hand-eye coordination and shot control. My focus is on the mechanics: are your hips rotating? Is your weight transfer smooth? Is your elbow high? I will tell you exactly what you are doing wrong, and we will repeat the drill until it is right.

Why Red Soil Matters

We operate on red soil wickets in the heart of Bengaluru. This is crucial for your development because it replicates real-match conditions. You have to adapt your game, watch the ball closely, and play with soft hands. It is the best place to learn how to handle pace and bounce.

The Environment

My academy is for those who want to be cricketers, not just students. You will see players from U-12 to U-23 sharing the ground, learning, and competing. It is an honest environment. There is no drama—only cricket. If you are serious about your game, this is where you start.

I am Raghuram Bhat. On these grounds, I do not care about reputations; I care about your elbow position and hip rotation. If you are ready to put in the work, I am ready to teach.
