Custom Clay & Fiberglass Murals for Unique Spaces
From messy, wet clay masters to durable fiberglass finishes. Step behind the scenes and watch us transform raw material into bold, 3D sculptural statements for your walls.
The meditative process of sculpting our Buddha mural in clay. This video shows the artist's hands carefully carving the fine details of the face and robes, a slow and focused stage of creation.
It all starts from the ground up. This video shows the Bondasoup boys getting hands-on, mixing and preparing the clay by foot, the traditional way, to get the perfect consistency for sculpting.
A time-lapse glimpse of the Buddha mural taking shape in our studio. You can see the artist referencing the design and gradually building up the form from a flat slab of clay.
A showcase of different textures we can achieve in clay. We spent two months experimenting with various tools, and even making our own, to develop these unique patterns for future sculptures and murals.
About The Art of the Process: Clay & Fiberglass
This is where your vision gets real. We invite you to our HBR Layout studio during the initial 'wet clay' stage to review the sculpture before we cast it in fiberglass. This is your moment to tweak the details—the expression, the texture, and the depth—before the final mold is set in stone, literally.
Our Sculpting & Casting Process
We treat every 3D mural like a living piece of art. It all starts with a sketch, but the magic happens when we mix the clay. We sculpt everything from scratch, capturing fine details like facial expressions, hair texture, or organic shapes directly in the clay master. Once you sign off on the design during the wet clay phase, we move to the casting stage.
Why Fiberglass (FRP)?
For outdoor facades or high-traffic areas, clay alone won't survive. We cast your custom design in Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP), typically 3mm to 5mm thick. We embed iron or wood frameworks inside to ensure the mural stays warp-free for years. It is fully weather-resistant, sun-proof, and built to handle the chaotic Bangalore weather.
Customization & Finishing
We do not just hand you a flat relief. We play with textures and finishes, from metallic bronze or gold patina to classic matte exterior paints. Whether you want a Buddha mural for your garden or a custom brand logo for your office lobby, we handle everything from the initial armature to the final anchor-bolting into your wall.
Common Questions
- Can I suggest changes? Yes, please. That is exactly why we show you the clay master. Once it is cast in fiberglass, the form is locked.
- How long does it take? Sculpting is a slow, meditative process. Depending on the size, we usually need a few weeks from the first sketch to the final installation.
- Is it heavy? We use internal light-weight frames to keep the weight manageable for standard concrete walls, but we always check your mounting surface first.
