Recycled Paper and Cardboard Art Installations
We transform piles of old newspapers and corrugated sheets into wild, 3D sculptures and installations. If you can imagine it, we can build it from cardboard.
This is how the giant cardboard elephant head began. Our team is seen here shaping and taping individual pieces of cardboard to build the complex structure before the final details were added.

Taking our art on the road. Here, our team members are posing with the finished cardboard elephant head in front of a partner wall at an event, showing how our creations can serve as unique brand activations.
This video follows the creation of a portrait bust for a Bata showroom in Kolkata. Made from layered recycled materials, it shows our process from the studio workshop all the way to its final installation in the store.
A behind-the-scenes shot of our team installing massive curtains made of woven newspaper strips. This was for a huge event where we handled the entire decor using only recycled newspapers.
A close-up of the woven newspaper pattern used for the event curtains. The simple, repetitive design created a stunning visual effect when lit with colorful stage lights.
The final look of the newspaper decor at the Windsor halls. The recycled paper curtains, combined with dramatic lighting and candles, transformed the space completely.
A close-up of one of the hooded figures we created from newspaper. The texture and form were built up layer by layer, creating a surprisingly detailed and expressive sculpture from simple materials.
About Recycled Paper & Cardboard Creations
We don't just glue paper together. It is a process of layering, precise cutting, and building internal armatures to make these sculptures stand tall. It is messy, it takes patience, and yes, it is mostly just cardboard, but the result is something you would never guess started as a pile of scrap.
How we turn scraps into statement art
When we work with paper and cardboard, we are looking at texture and volume. For the giant elephant head you see in our gallery, we used multi-ply corrugated sheets, precision cutting each layer to build up the features before taping and sealing. It is not just about the final look, it is about the structural engineering that happens inside to keep it standing.
Where our paper art fits
Because these materials are not waterproof, we keep these installations for dry indoor areas. We have done everything from full-venue decor at the Windsor halls using only newspapers to intricate, life-sized animal trophies for cafes and offices.
The process
- The Sketch: We start with your idea.
- The Build: We build internal wooden or wire armatures for support.
- The Layers: We stack and cut corrugated sheets for depth.
- The Finish: We seal everything with matte varnish to keep it protected from dust and moisture.
If you have a blank wall or an empty corner in your cafe or home, this is a sustainable way to fill it without buying factory-made decor. We love a challenge, so if you have a wild concept, tell us.
