Screw Art & Power Drill Workshops
We turn thousands of drywall screws and professional power drills into detailed 3D portraits. Grab a drill, get messy, and join our Bangalore art jam.
Our screw art workshops are always a blast, and this session with an amazing group of students was no exception. We guide participants of all skill levels to safely use tools like power drills, turning thousands of screws into incredible recycled art pieces. It’s a hands-on creative class that builds focus and teamwork.
This is a look at the organized chaos behind one of our large scale screw art installations. We map out the design and then meticulously drill in each screw to create depth and texture. This form of upcycled art transforms industrial materials into a stunning visual centerpiece.
We believe art is for everyone, and our youngest collaborator proves it. Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and fun for all ages, making them a great activity for families, communities, and corporate events. Here, even a little helper can get involved in the creative process.
About Screw Art Creations
If you’ve never held a power drill, don’t stress. We bring professional-grade Makita and Bosch tools, safety goggles, and enough drywall screws to create a 3D relief portrait from scratch. Most of our participants walk in thinking they aren't 'artistic' and walk out with a textured piece they actually want to hang on their wall. It’s less of a classroom lecture and more of a jam session where you learn to handle the torque, map out the depth, and turn hardware into art.
How Our Screw Art Workshops Work
We bring the studio to you. Whether it’s a corporate team-building session or a creative workshop at school, we handle the logistics so you just have to focus on the art.
- The Gear: You get a pre-primed 12x12 or 18x18 inch plywood board, thousands of black drywall screws, and access to professional-grade cordless drills.
- The Process: We start with a 15-minute safety briefing on torque settings and tool handling. Once you're comfortable, you use stencils or chalk outlines to map your design. The magic happens when you start drilling—adjusting the depth of the screws creates shadows, texture, and a 3D relief effect that looks wild from different angles.
- The Vibe: These are intense, focused, 3.5 to 4-hour sessions. We focus on 'organized chaos'—you'll get your hands dirty, learn a new skill, and probably argue about which wall at your office needs this art the most.
Why This Workshop?
It’s not just about the final portrait. It’s about the shift in perspective. Using industrial materials like screws to build something delicate teaches focus and patience in a way that regular painting doesn't. We’ve seen teams bond over the noise of the drills and the satisfaction of finishing a piece together. If you are looking for a creative outlet that feels a bit 'mad' and different from a standard art class, this is it.
