The Build Process
When we execute a garden, we prioritize long-term viability over short-term visuals. Our process includes:
- Base Preparation: We install 20mm to 30mm drainage cells on terraces to manage water efficiently. This is followed by a geotextile membrane to separate the soil from the drainage layer, preventing silt buildup.
- Soil System: We use a lightweight mix of red earth, coco-peat, and perlite to minimize structural weight while ensuring excellent nutrient retention for plants.
- Plant Selection: We select mature foliage such as Raphis palms, Monstera deliciosa, and various ferns to create a dense, jungle-like environment that adapts well to Mumbai's humidity.
- Hardscaping: To complement the plants, we install geometric pavers, river pebble borders, and decorative features like water fountains or statues to add character to the space.
Ongoing Maintenance
A common concern with garden projects is the upkeep. We offer monthly maintenance packages, ranging from 4 to 8 visits, to ensure your garden remains vibrant. Our team handles pruning, pest control, fertilization, and general cleanup. While we provide the labor and the nutritional upkeep for plants, we recommend that clients manage daily watering to keep the soil moisture levels consistent.
