Marigold Grid & Folk Haldi Decor
Backdrop & Structure
- Marigold Grid Wall: An 8ft x 8ft or 10ft x 8ft architectural grid backdrop filled with fresh yellow and orange marigold strings in a checkerboard or block pattern.
- Folk Accents: Integration of traditional Rajasthani puppets (Kathputli) or decorative tassels hanging within the grid frames.
- Fabric Draping: Bright yellow or orange satin/polyester side drapes to frame the floral wall and mask venue walls.
Stage & Furniture
- Stage Flooring: Basic red or green matting carpet coverage for the stage area.
- Seating: One low-height Diwan or traditional bench covered with a bright sheet and 2-4 contrasting cylindrical bolster pillows.
Props & Lighting
- Traditional Artifacts: 2-3 large brass Urlis or earthen pots placed at the stage front, filled with water and floating petals.
- Side Decor: Rustic finish painted wooden crates or small wooden ladders adorned with loose marigold trails.
- Lighting: 2-4 Halogen wash lights to brighten the yellow tones for photography.

- Includes transport within Hubli-Dharwad city limits, setup, and teardown.
Traditional South Indian Devkarya Decor
Bio-Organic Backdrop
- Banana Leaf Wall: A complete 8ft x 8ft backdrop created using fresh, overlapping banana leaves for a solid green wall.
- Banana Stems: Two full-sized fresh banana stems (plantain trees) with flower buds, placed as pillars on either side.
Floral Garlands
- Traditional Blooms: Heavy usage of Mogra (Jasmine) strings and Marigold garlands hanging vertically against the leaf backdrop.
- Torans: Fresh mango leaf torans tied across the top frame.
Ceremonial Props
- Brassware: 2 tall traditional brass oil lamps (Samay/Kuthu Vilakku) placed symmetrically.
- Offerings Display: 4-6 decorative woven baskets or decorated thalis on raised pedestals for displaying fruits and puja items.
Seating
- Puja Seating: Wooden Peta or low-height stool for the bride/groom.
Modern Pastel 3-Arch Stage Decor
Stage Backdrop Design
- Architectural Arches: A set of 3 to 5 freestanding arch panels (MDF/Ply) painted in White or Pastel hues to create a 3D effect.
- Floral Styling: Asymmetrical bunches featuring fresh roses/carnations mixed with high-quality artificial hydrangeas and wisteria for volume.
- Gold Accents: Gold-painted geometric metal screens or sleek gold floral stands placed between the arches.
Signage & Furniture
- Neon Sign: Standard neon signage (e.g., Better Together) or a custom acrylic monogram hung on the central arch.
- Couple Seating: One premium 2-seater Tufted Velvet sofa (Red, Burgundy, or Beige) or an ornate Victorian-style love seat.
- Stage Carpet: Clean white or red fur-texture carpet for the main stage area (up to 12ft width).
Lighting
- Mood Lighting: 6-8 LED PAR cans placed at the base to wash the panels in warm white or amber light.
- Chandelier: Optional small crystal chandelier or hanging Edison bulbs inside the arches (subject to venue height).
Entrance Arch & 30ft Walkway
Entrance Decor
- Main Arch: A 10ft wide entry arch matching the main event theme (marigold-wrapped or pastel floral).
- Welcome Sign: One wooden easel stand with a customized board displaying the couple's name and hashtag.
Walkway Styling
- Passageway Decor: 6 Floral pedestals (3 on each side) lining the path.
- Carpet: Running red or green carpet (up to 30 running feet) covering the path from the entrance arch to the hall entry.
Lighting
- Pathway Illumination: Basic focus lights or serial fairy lights wrapped around the arch legs.

- Haldi and mehandi decor ideas are my jam - think bold genda phool, colourful drapes, traditional puppets, and checkered marigold photo walls that everyone ends up clicking pics in front of.
- Authentic touches matter. That’s why banana leaf backdrops, brass lamps, and other details show up for the poojas.
