Turn family heirlooms and local crafts into the heart of your celebration. I specialize in giving new life to old fabrics and creating decor that feels deeply personal.

This is where the story begins. For this bride, we transformed her mother's cherished sarees and dupattas, breathing new life into them as beautiful decor elements. It's a wonderful way to weave family history into the celebration.

My philosophy is to blend personal heritage with local artistry. We incorporated sustainable artifacts like Channapatna toys and fresh, locally sourced flowers to create a rich, textured, and eco-friendly wedding design.

Every wedding is a series of beautiful scenes. This mood board shows the initial vision for creating varied backdrops, each telling a different part of the couple's story and providing unique photo opportunities throughout the venue.

Why have one backdrop when you can have many? This collage gives a sneak peek into the series of captivating, personalized backdrops we designed for one wedding, each telling a unique story and creating a dynamic visual journey.

This stage backdrop was a masterpiece of personalization and upcycling. We used two of the bride's mother's treasured sarees as the base, pairing them with her favorite tiger chairs and a collection of local Channapatna crafts.

A closer look at the magnificent tiger chairs that became the focal point of the main stage. These unique pieces were a specific request from the bride, showcasing how we can incorporate even the most imaginative ideas into your wedding decor.

A dramatic, close-up view of the hand-carved tiger chair. This piece wasn't just furniture; it was a statement, reflecting the bride's bold personality and becoming an unforgettable part of her wedding story.

Details of the main stage, where the fierce tiger chair sits beside delicate brassware and fragrant incense. This juxtaposition of bold and traditional elements is a hallmark of my personalized design approach.

An overhead view of the antique tables on the main stage, adorned with Channapatna dolls, fresh tuberose, and baskets of marigolds. Every element is carefully placed to create a rich, layered, and visually interesting setup.

About Sustainable & Upcycled Creations

Instead of buying new materials for every function, I look at what you already own. When we use your mother's sarees or a grandmother's dupatta as the base for a stage backdrop, we are not just decorating. We are building a memory. I layer these pieces with local Channapatna crafts to create a space that feels like home rather than a stage.

Sustainability in weddings does not have to mean sacrificing aesthetics. In fact, it often leads to richer, more textured results. My approach involves a deep dive into your family history. We identify textiles, photos, or old furniture that can be repurposed to ground your wedding in your own narrative.

Why Upcycling Works

  • Depth of Texture: Using a vintage saree as a backdrop creates a drape and sheen that synthetic fabrics cannot replicate.
  • Sustainability: By reusing existing materials, we significantly reduce the waste associated with single-use event decor.
  • Personal Connection: Guests recognize your family history in the decor, which sparks conversations and deepens the sense of community.

Blending Local Craft

I believe in supporting local ecosystems. I frequently source Channapatna toys, terracotta pottery, and fresh brassware to act as accents. These pieces provide a sense of place, rooting your Bangalore or South Indian destination wedding in local tradition. For instance, using Channapatna dolls on a shelf alongside brass Nandi statues creates a sophisticated, layered look that feels authentic rather than mass-produced.

Practical Logistics

Every project begins with a consultation where we audit your resources. If you have heirloom fabrics, I will guide you on how to prep them for professional styling. If you need local craft accents, I source them directly from artisan partners. This is not about cutting corners, but about making deliberate choices that honor your heritage while keeping your budget focused on what truly matters.
