The biggest challenge with a Muhurtham ceremony is the heat from the Homam fire and the long duration of the rituals. I use a specialized, sweat-resistant HD foundation base designed specifically to handle high heat and humidity, ensuring your makeup stays fresh without melting or moving throughout the entire ceremony.
My approach to the Muhurtham look is grounded in tradition but built to last. I focus on a timeless red-and-gold colour palette, carefully selecting pigments that complement the vibrant threads of your Kanchipuram or Madisar silk saree.
Why the Focus on Rituals?
I understand that South Indian weddings involve more than just looking good on stage. From the forehead jewellery settings to the 'poola jada' (fresh flower braid) and the draping of complex 9-yard sarees, every element needs to withstand the intensity of the event.
