Your mehndi is a canvas for your love story. From couple portraits and city skylines to your favorite spiritual figures, we turn your personal journey into intricate art on your hands.

Your love story, right on your hands. For this engagement mehndi, I created a delicate portrait of the couple's proposal moment on the palm, complemented by a modern floral vine with a peacock on the arm. It’s a perfect example of how we can make your mehndi deeply personal and unique.

A beautiful full arm design for a Krishna bhakt. This Marathi bride wanted her devotion reflected in her mehndi, so we included several elements from Krishna's stories, like him playing the flute and with the gopis.

A closer look at the Krishna themed bridal mehndi. You can see the intricate figures of Krishna and Radha, surrounded by traditional peacock and floral motifs. Every detail is crafted with love and devotion.

This bride's hand showcases a beautiful story of devotion. The design features various scenes from Lord Krishna's life, intricately woven into a full bridal pattern.

The most personal touch for a bride. This close up shows a beautifully detailed portrait of the bride and groom, capturing a special moment in henna that she can cherish forever.

A truly personal bridal design for our Siliguri bride. This close up shows a portrait of the bride with her mother, a beautiful tribute, alongside the couple's initials, 'DP'.

A unique bridal mehndi featuring a full family portrait. This design was created to include the bride and groom with their loved ones, making it an incredibly special and meaningful piece of art.

A romantic Karwachauth theme. This design features a couple celebrating the festival, with the wife looking at her husband through a sieve, all set against a night sky.

The perfect Karwachauth mehndi. This video shows the creation of a design featuring the traditional scene of a wife looking at the moon and her husband, a beautiful way to celebrate the festival.

A romantic design perfect for a wedding or Karwachauth. This mehndi features a couple in a loving embrace, surrounded by moons and stars, symbolizing their eternal bond.

About Your Story in Henna: Custom Portraits & Themes

Planning a custom portrait or story design is different from standard bridal work. It usually adds about 6-8 hours to your application time, so we often consult on your layout a few weeks before the wedding. We focus on fine-line detailing during this session to make sure portraits look like you, not just generic figures.

How We Design Your Story

When you ask for a portrait or a specific theme, we aren't just applying henna. We are sketching a narrative. Whether it is your proposal moment, a city skyline like Mumbai that means something to both of you, or a spiritual element like Krishna, the process starts with a consultation. We need to understand the 'why' behind these elements so we can place them perfectly on your palms.

The Process

Because this work requires ultra-fine lines, I use a triple-sifted organic henna paste that allows for the precision needed to capture facial features or detailed structures. For these complex designs, my partner Pinky and I work together, especially if you want both hands covered with different elements of your story.

Practical Details

  • Time Commitment: These designs are not 'quick' patterns. They require 6-8 hours of dedicated time. We plan for beverage service and breaks to keep you comfortable throughout the application.
  • Design Scope: We can incorporate almost anything—initials, wedding dates, or even your favorite travel destinations.
  • Location: While we are based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and our studio is in Bhayandar West, we frequently travel to places like Surat and Siliguri for these specific destination wedding commissions. If you are outside these areas, we can discuss travel arrangements well in advance.

If you have a rough idea, share it with me. We can sketch it out and refine the layout so your mehndi looks clean, intentional, and entirely yours.

My life is a constant juggle between being a mom, running a home, and chasing that perfect henna stain. When I am not traveling for weddings, you will find me sketching new designs or teaching my students. Creating these portraits is not just about the henna; it is about capturing your love story on your palms.
