Authentic Haldi & Mehendi Celebrations
Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies are where the real wedding stories begin. I focus on capturing the messy, vibrant energy of the haldi and the quiet, intimate bonds of the mehendi—no posing required, just raw, honest moments.

About Haldi & Mehendi Celebrations
The secret to great Haldi photos isn't the decor—it's letting the mess happen. When I shoot these events, I don't ask you to stand still or look at the camera; I'm busy documenting the turmeric splashes, the uncontrolled laughter, and the way your friends actually celebrate. You will be covered in haldi, your outfit might get ruined, but those are the frames you will actually want to look at years later.
Whether it is an intimate family gathering or a massive, multi-day celebration, the Haldi and Mehendi functions are where the wedding atmosphere truly shifts. My photography style is built around the belief that these events should feel personal, not staged.
I have covered everything from Gujarati pithi ceremonies to Sikh vatna rituals and vibrant Marathi weddings. My goal is to capture the cultural specificities—the intricate henna patterns, the turmeric-stained clothes, and the distinct family rituals—while maintaining a narrative thread. When I edit these photos, I look for the moments that define the couple's relationship: the groom's reaction to seeing his name in the mehendi, or the way parents interact with their children during these final days before the wedding.
I use a mix of candid shots and careful observational photography. You won’t see me asking you to pose stiffly while your friends are throwing petals. I want the energy. If you are planning a destination wedding or a local celebration, my focus remains the same: documenting the real, raw emotions that happen in between the rituals.
