Occasion wear is about the energy you bring to the room. For pre-wedding functions like Haldi, Mehendi, or Sangeet, I focus on colors that pop, such as mustard yellows, emerald greens, and deep plums.

I do not just pick colors; I look at how they interact with daylight and venue lighting. For outdoor Haldi ceremonies, I often suggest raw silk because it catches the sunlight beautifully without looking synthetic.
