Trainees Representing India and Maharashtra in Tennis
Seeing our players on the court for the state and country is the ultimate proof of our training. From National Games medals to international ATF squads, this is where the hard work pays off.

About Representing Team India & Maharashtra
Getting to represent Team Maharashtra or India isn't about natural talent alone. It requires specific, tournament-level conditioning and match strategy that we build during our 4-hour daily Elite Pro Circuit sessions. We don't just teach strokes; we prepare our players for the high-pressure environment of AITA Super Series and ITF circuits, so they are mentally and physically ready when the flag is on their chest.
Success at the state and national level is the result of years of consistency. Our pathway begins with identifying potential in the U10 and U12 categories and guiding them through a rigorous development cycle.
The Competitive Pathway
We don't believe in quick fixes. Our trainees progress through a structured system:
- Junior Foundation: Technical mastery of groundstrokes and serve mechanics in small squads.
- State Selection: Training for MSLTA tournaments, building the match toughness required for district and state selections.
- National & International Circuit: For our elite athletes, we shift focus to AITA Super Series, National Series, and ITF Junior tournaments. This includes complex pattern play, video analysis of strokes, and personalized calendar planning to maximize ranking points.
Why Our Approach Works
Tennis today is a physical battle. That is why our program at DY Patil Sports and High Performance Centre is critical. We integrate strength and conditioning with on-court drills. This ensures our players have the stamina for long three-set matches and the explosive power needed for modern competitive tennis.
When a player from our academy walks onto the court representing Maharashtra or India, they carry the same mindset we teach at the academy: belief. Whether it is an ATF U-12 team event or the National Games, our trainees know how to execute under pressure because they have been trained to do exactly that every single day. If you are serious about competing at the highest level, you have to be ready to put in the work.
