About this collection
Getting a portrait on your hands is real mehnat (hard work). Unlike traditional motifs, this takes intense focus and 5 to 9 hours of sitting to capture the exact details of your varmala or doli moment. I take my time with the 3D shading because once the henna is on, it is there to stay, and I want it to look exactly like your special day.
When you choose portrait mehandi, you are not just getting a pattern, you are getting a memory. I specialize in intricate storytelling designs, which means we can weave your proposal, varmala, or even your wedding date into the henna itself.
My Process
I use organic, high-quality henna paste that gives a deep maroon stain. Because these designs are complex, I usually need a minimum of 6 to 9 hours for the full 'Storytelling' package. This isn't a rush job, and I recommend clearing your schedule so I can provide my best work without interruptions.
What Goes Into It
- 3D Shading: This is what gives the portraits depth and makes the figures look alive. I use specific shading techniques that require steady hands and a lot of patience.
- Custom Elements: You can ask for anything, from Radha-Krishna motifs to your pet or even a logo.
- Material Safety: I prepare my henna fresh with essential oils. I will also guide you on aftercare, like how to apply the lemon-sugar sealant, so you get the darkest stain possible for your functions.
Whether you are based in Delhi NCR or anywhere else in India, I travel to you. If you have a specific wedding moment you want captured, let’s discuss it before booking. I put my soul into these designs because I know this is a once-in-a-lifetime detail for your bridal look. Ganpati Bappa Morya, let's create something beautiful for you.
