I started with a single burner in my kitchen. Today, thousands of jars later, I still believe that handmade things carry a soul that mass production simply cannot match.

Hey you, I'm Pooja, the maker and mixer behind Bath & Being. What started as a love for all things natural has turned into my passion for creating skincare that’s good for you and gorgeous to use. Welcome to the family.

I started small, experimenting at home, and today I've sold over 5,000 candles. This video is a little piece of my journey and a reminder that if you're holding on to a dream, you just have to begin.

We may be a small team, but we put a lot of heart into every step of the process. Thank you for supporting us and being part of the Bath & Being journey.

This cacao ceremony changed my relationship with chocolate and deepened my appreciation for cacao butter, an ingredient I use almost every day. Now when I melt it, I see the whole journey, and that changes everything.

This is the propaganda I live by: slow mornings, pleasure as an investment, and the belief that handmade things carry soul. It's about living a life that is softer, slower, and wilder.

I totally fell for the propaganda that you can quit your 9-5 and build a life where your desk smells like lavender, not despair. It's not always easy, but it's still worth it.

If you ever wonder what it’s like to run a handmade skincare brand, imagine smelling like 14 different essential oils and crying over emulsifiers at 2 AM. It's a wild ride.

This is the core of my philosophy. Handcrafting self-care is my love language to the world. It’s about slowing down, connecting with nature, and creating something beautiful and healing with my own two hands.

This is my Ajji, my grandmother and my biggest supporter. I made this special saffron and rose moisturizer just for her. Seeing her joy reminds me why I do this. Every handmade product is an act of love, a tradition passed down.

This is how we heal: gently, together. A small circle, a jar of moisturizer, and the quiet grace of women who remember how to tend to each other.

About Our Story & Small-Batch Process

My studio in Arekere isn't a sterile lab. It’s where I spend hours testing textures, dealing with failed batches, and sometimes crying over a stubborn emulsifier at 2 AM. It is messy, real, and completely made by hand.
