Handmade Face Cleansers and Natural Toners
Cleansing shouldn't feel like a chore. Here are my small-batch, plant-based washes and toners designed to reset your skin naturally without stripping away its glow.
Meet Purple Haze, our face wash for oily skin. It uses Brazilian Purple and Serbian Blue Clay to detoxify pores and balance oil, while Frankincense and Orange essential oils soothe and brighten.
For dry and sensitive skin, I created the Be Gentle Facewash. It’s made with hydrating Saffron, Vetiver, and Aloe Vera, plus hydrolyzed oats to protect your skin barrier while cleansing.
This is our Berried Alive facewash, made with cranberry extract and provitamin B5. It’s an amino acid-based cleanser that’s extremely gentle but powerful enough to help reduce dark spots and improve skin elasticity.
I formulated this anti-acne toner for myself using Rosemary and Tea Tree hydrosols with Niacinamide. It helps minimize pores, improve uneven skin tone, and strengthen the skin barrier with its natural antibacterial properties.
We recently launched Berried Alive, a powerful yet gentle facewash. It's packed with natural ingredients like cranberry extract to help you achieve glowing, even-toned skin.
About Face Cleansers & Toners
Most commercial cleansers use aggressive surfactants that leave your face feeling tight, which is actually a sign of barrier damage. My cleansers are amino-acid based and pH-balanced, meaning they lift away daily pollution and grime while keeping your skin’s protective oils fully intact. Whether you’re reaching for Brazilian clays to manage oil or Saffron-infused blends for deep hydration, the goal is simple: clean skin that actually feels soft and nourished, not stripped or dry.
The Bath & Being Approach to Cleansing
I believe your morning and evening wash should be the most grounding part of your day. That’s why I don't use 'off-the-shelf' formulas. Everything I make in my Bangalore studio is rooted in plant-based science.
Why Amino Acids?
Traditional soaps can be harsh, but the amino acid-based surfactants I use are the building blocks of protein. They are incredibly mild, making them perfect for everyone—from those dealing with acne-prone skin to those with hyper-sensitive barriers.
Choosing Your Ritual
- For Oily & Congested Skin: My Purple Haze face wash uses Brazilian Purple and Serbian Blue clays. It’s not just about drying out oil; it’s about balancing your sebum production with Frankincense and Orange essential oils.
- For Dry & Sensitive Skin: The Be Gentle cleanser is my answer to the 'tight skin' problem. With Saffron, Vetiver, and hydrolyzed oats, it acts like a drink of water for your face, repairing the barrier while it cleanses.
- For Dull & Tired Skin: Berried Alive is packed with cranberry extract and Provitamin B5. It’s a powerhouse for fading dark spots and boosting elasticity, giving you that 'lit-from-within' glow.
The Power of Toner
Don't skip the toner. Hydrosol-based toners (like my Rosemary and Tea Tree blend) aren't just water; they are concentrated plant nutrients. When you mist your face before and after moisturizing, you are locking in moisture and tightening pores with the astringent properties of pure botanicals.
All my formulations are free from parabens, silicones, and fake fragrances. Just pure, nature-infused care.
