The People Behind Barks and Meows: Meet Our Animal-Loving Team
Great pet care starts with great people. Meet the team at Barks and Meows in Gurugram who make our 1.5-acre facility feel like a second home for your furry friends.
That's me, Deepak, with one of our guests. My vision has always been to provide the best care for every pet, and my dedication comes from a deep love for all animals.
A team member surrounded by an attentive audience. This is a common sight here, as our dogs know who to go to for treats and affection.
Celebrating a birthday with our three musketeers. Moments like these, filled with cuddles and trust, are what we live for.
There's always time for belly rubs. Our hands-on approach ensures every dog gets the personal attention they deserve.
A gentle nuzzle from a happy dog is the best thank you we can receive. We build real, loving bonds with our guests.
Even dogs who need a little extra care, like this one with a cone, get all the love and comfort they need to feel at ease.
A peaceful moment of belly rubs in the sun. We create a calm and trusting environment for all pets.
Me with two of our resident Indies, all bundled up for the cold. They are a huge part of our Barks and Meows family.
Winter sun and human cuddles are the perfect combination. Our team is always ready to provide warmth and comfort.
When we asked our community what they look for in a boarding service, many said it's the people. We couldn't agree more. Our love for animals is at the core of everything we do.
About Our Pack Leaders: The People Behind the Paws
It is not just about the space, it is about who is watching your pet while you are away. At Barks and Meows, we maintain a strict 1:3 staff-to-pet ratio to ensure every dog and cat gets real, hands-on attention. Our team members are not just employees; they are true animal lovers who know how to handle different temperaments, whether it is a high-energy pup in our Gwal Pahari playgrounds or a shy cat in our quiet cattery.
When you search for pet boarding in Gurugram, you see a lot of facilities. But walk through our 1.5-acre setup, and you will notice something different: the handlers are usually on the ground, sitting with the dogs, scratching ears, or playing fetch. We do not believe in 'cage-free' as just a marketing term. It only works if you have enough hands on deck to supervise interaction, manage play, and ensure everyone stays safe.
I personally train our team to recognize the subtle cues pets give. A dog feeling overwhelmed in a group play session or a cat needing space in the cattery, our team catches this because they spend the whole day in the thick of it. We are all about that 'Adopt, Don't Shop' energy, and most of our team members are actively involved in our Indie dog adoption drives. They know these dogs, they love these dogs, and they understand that every animal, from the tiniest Indie to the biggest Golden Retriever, deserves patience. Whether your pet is staying for a day of daycare or a long-term boarding stay, they are not 'clients' to us, they are family. You will see the same faces here when you return, which helps build that trust your pet needs to relax while you are away.
Barks and Meows
I am Deepak, and Barks and Meows is my life. My team and I are here because we genuinely love furr babies more than anything else, and we make sure every pet feels that love from the moment they walk in.
