About Our Community & Heartwork
We organize weekly feeding drives across Delhi NCR, and every weekend you will find us on the ground with food and supplies for our street friends. If you have been looking for a way to contribute, whether through volunteering time or supporting our medical drives, there is always space in our pack for more hands.
Barks and Meows started because I wanted a happy place for all the furr babies who have no one else. For me, it is never just business; it is heartwork. When we talk about our community, we mean more than just boarding or daycare—we mean the real, messy, wonderful work of animal rescue.
Why We Do It
Animals just have a knack for finding those who need them most. Whether it is the bade miyan (the big ones) or chote miyan (the little ones), every rescue is Subhanallah—truly wonderful. We push for 'Adopt, Don't Shop' because there are so many lovable Indie dogs and kittens waiting for a second chance in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida.

We do not do this solo. We are part of a big, passionate family across the region. You will see us:
- Running Weekend Feeding Drives: We are out every weekend across Delhi NCR. Join us as a 'Barkedian' to help feed and care for strays.
- Hosting Community Events: From the 'Furry Fashion Fiesta' to birthday celebrations for our rescued trio—Hachi, Deesel, and Daisy—we love bringing pet parents together.
- Coordinating Medical Support: Thanks to partners like SJS Pet Care & Clinic, we manage donations for medicines and treatments for strays.
