Workshop Syllabus

- Curriculum: 'Zero to Song' method covering holding the instrument, basic strumming patterns, and finger placement for 3-4 essential chords.
- Repertoire: Students learn to play exactly two songs by the end of the session (one English pop and one Bollywood Hindi).

- Instrument Provided: Usage of one Concert or Soprano sized Ukulele provided by the academy for the class duration.

What Our Workshops Are Like
Our introductory music workshops are made for folks who’ve never touched an instrument before. Each session is 1.5 hours, so you get enough time to try things out without feeling rushed. It’s a group vibe - you’ll meet others who are just as clueless (and excited) as you.
- We keep things light and fun, not like those strict classes you might’ve heard about.
- Our instructors are real musicians, not just teachers. They know how to make learning music feel less scary and more like a stress buster.
Pick Your Instrument
- Beginner guitar class for adults: “Fret Not!” is for anyone who wants to try guitar. We’ll get you strumming your first melody. Don’t have a guitar? We’ve got you covered.
- Ukulele workshop for absolute beginners: “Strum Away!” is perfect if you want something easy and joyful. You’ll play both an English song and a Hindi one (haan, ekdum mast gaana bhi bajayenge - yes, we’ll play a super fun song too). Ukulele provided.
The Space
Our studio in Andheri West is calm and welcoming, even though the area’s busy. It’s a spot where you can chill, experiment, and maybe surprise yourself.

My Story
Hey, Brendan here. Music’s been my thing since I was nine - violin, piano, guitar, you name it. Played with Bombay Chamber Orchestra, session work for films, but teaching’s where I really vibe. BAM Academy’s about making music chill for everyone, no pressure. Seen all sorts of folks light up when they finally nail a piece. That’s the magic. It’s not just notes, it’s respect, fun, and a safe spot to mess up and grow.
My Work
Beginner Music Lessons - I teach violin, piano, ukulele, and guitar. All ages welcome, from kids to adults.
Suzuki Violin Method & Fun Workshops - We use Suzuki for violin, mix in Bollywood hits, and run workshops plus summer music camps.
Expert Teaching Team - Our instructors are pros, Trinity College grads, and love sharing music. Not just me, it’s a team.
