About Leh-Ladakh Bike Expeditions
When you are riding through Khardung La, the last thing you want is a bike breakdown. That is why every one of our Leh-Ladakh expeditions comes with a dedicated road captain, a mechanic, and a backup vehicle for your luggage. We handle the permits, logistics, and stay so you can focus on the twisties.
Your Ladakh Ride, Our Logistics
We don't just send you on a route and wish you luck. Our Leh-Ladakh expeditions are planned as a complete loop, starting and ending in Leh. We know the mountains can be unpredictable, so we prioritize your safety above everything else. Whether you choose to ride your own bike, rent one of our Royal Enfield Himalayans, or sit back in our backup vehicle, you are covered.
What You Get
- Mechanic Support: A dedicated mechanic travels with the convoy to handle any bike issues on the spot.
- Stay: We avoid fancy resorts in favour of 3-star guest houses and Swiss camps that keep you close to the landscape. Expect attached toilets, but keep in mind that camp heating is limited.
- Permits: All Inner Line Permits for restricted areas are taken care of by us.
- The Vibe: This is not a standard tour. You will spend your nights with campfire talks and your days meeting new people. By the end of the 7-day loop, the 'solo' travellers usually leave as part of a new family.
The Essentials
- Route: We cover the classic Leh-Nubra-Pangong loop. You will see the sand dunes at Hunder, the iconic lake at Pangong Tso, and the monasteries at Thiksey.
- Exclusions: Fuel and lunch are on you. We like to keep lunch flexible because you might find a secret food joint on the road that we would hate to miss.
- Safety: We carry portable oxygen cylinders and first aid kits in the lead vehicle because altitude sickness is real and we take it seriously.
If you are coming from Bangalore, we can help you with travel advice, but the expedition logistics officially start from Leh.
