About Precious Family & Sibling Moments
When booking your family newborn session, keep in mind that we plan for a 3 to 4-hour window. This is entirely for your baby. It gives us plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes, ensuring your little one is calm. We start with the family setup while everyone is fresh, then move to the baby-only poses, so you get those quiet, sleepy, and wrapped portraits without any rush.
Why these moments matter
Your family portrait is not just a picture, it is the record of a massive shift in your lives. Whether it is a big brother’s first, protective hug or that quiet, nose-to-nose moment between dad and the new arrival, I aim to keep the focus entirely on the connection.
Our Studio Process
My studio in Powai is intentionally designed to be calm and cozy. We do not just take photos, we spend time making sure the baby is comfortable throughout the session.
- For the Family: We prioritize the family setup early in the session. This way, if siblings are energetic or parents are tired, we have already captured the main group shots.
- Safety First: My posing techniques for family and sibling shots are safe and gentle. For big brothers and sisters, we keep it fun. No stiff posing. We let them hold the baby gently while I guide them, keeping them safe and engaged.
- Style: We use classic backdrops for these sessions, often deep blacks or textured whites, to ensure the focus stays on your expressions and the way you hold each other.
If you have a special item, like a family heirloom or a specific color preference, let me know. I love incorporating personal touches that make your photos feel authentic to your story. We want these to look like you, not like a staged set.
