Siblings & Grandparents Portraits: Capturing Cherished Bonds
There is nothing quite like the sibling bond or the love only a grandparent can give. My sessions focus on capturing these real, heartfelt relationships in my Powai studio.
Only a brother can bring out a smile like this. Capturing the fun and playful bond between siblings is always a joy.

About Siblings & Grandparents: Cherished Bonds
Capturing multiple generations in one frame can be a bit of a balancing act, but that is exactly where the magic happens. For these family sessions, I always recommend coordinating your outfits rather than matching perfectly, so everyone feels like themselves and stays comfortable. I work at the pace of your family—whether we have energetic toddlers or grandparents who prefer a relaxed pace—to ensure we catch those natural laughs rather than stiff, posed smiles.
Capturing the Family Connection
There is a special kind of love that exists between siblings and grandparents, and my goal is to freeze those moments in time. In my Powai studio, I don't just take portraits; I create an environment where families can interact, play, and just be themselves.
The Sibling Dynamic
Whether it is a protective big brother holding his younger sibling or two sisters sharing a secret joke, the bond between siblings changes every day. My sessions are designed to be playful. We let the kids move around, engage with each other, and forget the camera is even there. This results in photos full of life, cheeky grins, and genuine affection.
Grandparents and Grandkids
Including grandparents brings a beautiful, grounding energy to a photoshoot. I have seen the way a grandmother's face lights up when she cuddles her grandkids, and those are the frames that become family heirlooms. These sessions are perfect for celebrating the wisdom and warmth that elders bring to a family.
Practical Details for Your Session
- Studio Environment: My Raheja Vihar studio is climate-controlled and fully equipped, making it comfortable for both tiny babies and older family members.
- Session Pacing: For generational shoots, I schedule longer slots (up to 3 hours). This gives us ample time for outfit changes, snack breaks for the kids, and ensuring that grandma or grandpa doesn't feel rushed.
- Wardrobe Advice: Keep it timeless. Neutral colors or soft tones often work best to keep the focus on the faces and the emotions rather than the clothes.
