About Family Portraits: Laughter & Love
People often ask about outfits for these sessions. I always suggest keeping it simple and coordinated without being too matchy-matchy. If you are going for my boho setup, soft linens and earth tones work beautifully, while dark, solid colours make our formal portraits pop. Don't worry if you are not sure what to pick; we can chat about your wardrobe ideas before you step into the studio.
Whether it is a quick session for a birthday or a full-family shoot including grandparents, my studio in Raheja Vihar is designed to be a comfortable space where you can just be yourselves. I focus on candid interactions—the little giggles, the big hugs, and the quiet moments between siblings.
We have two main distinct styles at the studio. The boho-lifestyle setup uses white brick walls, macrame, and soft textures, which is perfect for that bright, airy, and relaxed look. It is where most of the giggles happen because it feels less like a photo studio and more like a cozy living room. Then there is the classic setup. We use dark, solid backdrops here to create timeless, formal portraits that keep the focus entirely on your family members.
I usually recommend the 90-minute signature session for families with toddlers. It gives us enough buffer time for outfit changes, snack breaks, or just letting the kids settle into the space so we can get genuine smiles instead of forced poses. If you are bringing grandparents, the longer session is definitely the way to go—it takes the pressure off and ensures we get those beautiful multi-generational shots without rushing. My goal is not just to take photos, but to create memories you will want to display on your walls for years.
