Artistic Maternity Photography Editing Styles
You see the final photo and wonder how it was made. Here is how I turn a simple studio session into a timeless work of art for your maternity memories.
Watch closely as this video reveals my editing technique. I show you the 'before' shot taken in the studio and the 'after' result, where a custom, beautifully crafted background is added to create a stunning final image. This is my signature style of heavily edited, bold pregnancy photos.
About My Artistic Editing Process
People often ask if my photos are natural or edited. The truth is, my style is bold and heavily retouched. We start with a comfortable, relaxed session in my Ghatkopar studio on a simple backdrop, but the real magic happens afterwards. I personally transform each image, swapping plain backgrounds for digital royal archways, temples, or floral themes to give you that painterly, rich finish that makes a portrait stand out.
How I Transform Your Portraits
Photography is not just about the click of the shutter. For me, pregnancy is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I believe in creating 'khaas athvan' (special memories) that feel larger than life.
The Process When you book a session with me, we start in the studio. I keep the setup simple and distraction-free so I can focus entirely on your poses, your outfit, and your comfort. Whether you are wearing a traditional Paithani saree or a modern western gown, the focus is on capturing the right expressions and angles.
The Editing Difference Once the shoot is done, the editing begins. This is where my signature artistic style comes in. I do not just color-correct or brighten images. I use digital artistry to place you into rich, detailed environments. If you want a traditional Maharashtrian look, I can edit in a classic temple setting. If you prefer something more contemporary, I use floral or royal architectural backgrounds.
What to Expect My style is not subtle. If you are looking for raw, untouched photography, I might not be the right choice for this specific look. However, if you want a heavily retouched, artistic final image that feels more like a painting than a photograph, this is exactly what I do.
Every session includes your raw JPEG files so you have the memories of the day, but the final delivered images are the ones I have meticulously crafted in post-production. This is the magic I bring to your maternity portraits.
