About Relaxing Balconies & Outdoor Retreats
Outdoor spaces in our climate face harsh sun and dust, so I don't just focus on aesthetics. I use weather-resistant wooden deck tiles and all-weather fixtures that ensure your retreat looks as good in two years as it does on day one, without needing constant maintenance.
Building an outdoor retreat is different from interior design. You are working against the elements, not just designing for comfort. My approach starts with the foundation—choosing flooring that drains properly and won't warp under the NCR heat.
I often recommend vertical gardens for balconies. They add a vibrant, living element without eating up your floor space. Whether it is a small city balcony or a sprawling 3000 sq. ft. terrace, the goal is the same: to create a seamless extension of your home.
