About Sitter & Milestone Sessions
At this age, babies are naturally curious and constantly moving, so I use stable, safe props like small wooden beds to keep them secure and comfortable. We follow your baby’s lead, pausing whenever they need a break, to ensure we get those genuine, wide-eyed expressions that you will want to look back on forever.
The 6 to 9 month milestone is a special time. Your baby can now sit up on their own, interact with their surroundings, and show off a budding personality. It is the perfect window for a sitter session, where we move beyond the sleepy newborn portraits to capture their alertness and new skills.
Why Book a Sitter Session
- Personality: At this age, babies have distinct reactions—they giggle, they make funny faces, and they observe everything. My goal is to capture these raw, candid moments.
- Studio Environment: My Borivali West studio is temperature-controlled and quiet, designed specifically to keep infants relaxed. I have a variety of outfits and props available, so you do not need to bring much beyond the essentials.
- Safety: As a certified professional, your baby's comfort is my first priority. I never force poses. If your little one needs a feed or a cuddle, we pause until they are happy to continue.
The Experience
When you book a session, we start by discussing a theme or a specific look you might like—whether that is a cultural setup, a classic portrait, or something fun. During the shoot, we often use small, supportive props like mini wooden beds or baskets that keep them stable while they sit. These props not only look great in photos but provide a sense of security for the baby.
I also love to include black and white portraits in these sessions. Removing color draws the focus entirely to those striking eyes and that sweet, innocent gaze, creating a timeless image that serves as a beautiful contrast to our colorful, themed setups.
