True style lies in the finish. My focus is on the precision of hand-embroidery, the texture of fine fabrics, and the unique elements that turn a standard garment into a piece of wearable art.

A close-up of the hand embroidery on a jacket pocket. This regal crown motif is meticulously crafted with gold and silver thread, showcasing the fine detail that goes into each piece.

An accessory can complete an outfit. This is a custom-made pocket brooch with a red silk pocket square, featuring an ornate silver crest and chain tassels for a touch of vintage elegance.

A white tuxedo jacket on display, highlighting the intricate, swirling embroidery that covers the entire piece. This showcases the level of detail I can achieve with threadwork.

A yellow Indo-Western jacket on a mannequin, featuring beautiful bird and floral embroidery. This piece shows how I incorporate elements of nature into my designs.

A hand-painted tuxedo jacket in beige. The abstract, flowing pattern on the lapels and cuffs is a great example of my wearable art.

A black tuxedo jacket on a mannequin, adorned with colorful, beaded floral clusters on the shoulders. This is a vibrant and modern take on formalwear embellishment.

A black Indo-Western jacket with an asymmetrical drape and subtle black-on-black embroidery. The focus here is on the unique cut and understated texture.

About Intricate Details & Craftsmanship

When I apply hand-embroidery, the process is about more than just decoration. Whether we are placing Zardosi patches on a velvet Jodhpuri or hand-painting motifs on an Indo-Western jacket, every stitch is intentional. I don't follow generic patterns because the goal is to make the garment feel like an extension of your own personality rather than something pulled off a mannequin.

The quality of custom menswear is defined by the underlying technical choices. In my Janakpuri studio, we prioritize semi-canvas construction for jackets to ensure they hold a sharp, structured chest fit that lasts through the longest events. When you look at the embroidery details, notice how we choose specific thread-work—like French knots or cut-dana beads—based on the fabric's weight. A heavy raw silk sherwani requires a different anchor for embroidery than a lightweight cotton silk kurta, and getting that balance right is what prevents the fabric from pulling or distorting.

My approach to detailing also involves custom-made accessories, from hand-painted brooches to matching pocket squares, ensuring your ensemble feels cohesive. If you opt for an Indo-Western piece, we can integrate artful designs like animal motifs or geometric patterns that align with your aesthetic. This level of customization allows us to adjust everything from the placket embroidery on a kurta set to the precise drape of an asymmetric jacket. It is a slow, collaborative process, but it ensures that when you wear the final piece, every detail—from the buttons to the collar lining—is exactly as we planned it.
