Standard Rifle & Pistol Experience
Session Breakdown
- Total Duration: 45 to 60 Minutes including briefing and shooting.
- Training: 15-minute safety orientation and 10-minute dry run for posture correction.
- Live Action: 20 to 30 minutes of active firing time on shared lanes.
Equipment Provided
- Weapons: Standard Club-Grade 10m Air Rifle or Air Pistol (Peep or Open sight).
- Ammunition: 20 Rounds of .177 Caliber Lead Pellets.
- Targets: 2 Standard ISSF 10m Paper Targets.

- Fully Air-Conditioned Indoor Range environment.
- Supervision by a dedicated Range Safety Officer for loading and aiming assistance.
Corporate Tournament & Team Challenge
Event Gameplay
- Duration: 90 to 120 Minutes depending on group size.
- Structure: Includes sighting crash course, practice rounds, and a scored tournament.
- Round Count: 40 shots total (20 Practice Shots + 20 Scored Shots).
- Competition: Manual score tracking and whiteboard leaderboard to determine the group winner.

What's in the 1-Hour Session
- No one needs any experience. I teach the basics, from safety rules to handling the gear.
- I use top-class air rifles and pistols, and the range is fully air-conditioned, so Chennai heat won’t be a problem.
- You’ll get 20 rounds each to try out your skills. Some people surprise themselves - and others just come for the bragging rights.
- My instructors are chill, patient, and know how to get everyone in the zone.

My Story
For us at Asthra, shooting isn’t just about hitting bullseye. It’s a way to stay sharp, almost like meditation, you know? Our academy’s got the Indian flag, Amar Jawan Jyoti replica, even Ayudha Pooja with our gear – we take pride in this sport and its roots. We started out wanting a spot where anyone, total newbie or pro, could feel at home. When our shooters make it to big trials, that’s our high. We’re here for the long haul, from first shot to maybe, just maybe, the Olympics.
