About this collection
The secret to a great crepe saree is the drape, which is why I specifically source fabrics that offer that effortless, fluid movement. Whether you want something light for daily wear or a more structured Dola silk for a function, these fabrics are easy to manage and comfortable. When you wear a saree, the fabric makes all the difference. My collection of crepes and georgettes is chosen for how they sit and flow on the body.
- For Everyday & Office: My Semi-Mysore Crepes and Chanderi Cottons are favorites because they are lightweight and breathable. They are perfect for long office hours where you need to look put-together but feel comfortable.
- For Parties & Occasions: If you want a little more glamour, look at my Dola Silk and Jimmy Choo fabric sarees. These feature a lovely shimmer and often come with intricate Meenakari borders or Jacquard blouses that add that extra touch for festivals or evening events.
- Pure Crepe Silks: For those special days, I also keep 120 GSM Pure Mysore Crepe silks. These have a distinct, heavy-weight liquid drape that feels luxurious the moment you put it on.
Care & Customization
Because of the delicate zari work and the nature of these fabrics, I always recommend dry cleaning to keep the sheen intact.
If you see a saree you love but want a unique look, just let me know. We handle full custom blouse stitching at our Nagarbhavi boutique—from simple patterns to heavy Aari and Zardosi work. If you are ordering from outside the area, we can even handle the fall, pico, and tassels (kuchu) so the saree arrives ready for you to wear.
