About this collection
Before we begin, we'll chat about the surface of your wall. For the best finish, your wall needs to be clean, dry, and free of cracks, as this ensures the acrylic paint adheres properly and lasts longer. I typically sketch the design directly onto the wall first, which gives us both a chance to see the placement before I commit to the final colours.
Bringing Your Vision to the Wall
Every project is different, and that is what I love about mural painting. Whether you are looking to spruce up a balcony with a geometric mandala or want to create a lush, tropical jungle theme in your garden, my process is designed to be collaborative.
The Process
I primarily use acrylic paints because they offer great pigment density and are durable for both indoor and outdoor settings. If we are painting outside, I apply a clear matte or satin varnish at the end, which acts as a protective layer against dust and weather. We will start by discussing your vision. I am happy to work with your ideas or suggest motifs like birds, foliage, or cultural designs that suit your specific space.
Practical Details
- Preparation: I include basic dusting of the wall, but please ensure your wall has a proper base coat before I arrive.
- Timeline: Depending on the complexity, most murals take 1-3 days to complete. I like to take my time with details, especially with nature scenes where shading and depth are key.
- Animal Welfare: My art is also my way of giving back. A portion of the earnings from every mural project goes toward treating injured street animals, so by getting your wall painted, you are also helping those in need.
