When I spin for festivals, it is not just about playing tracks. I coordinate with live dhol artists, manage crowd flow, and use specific setlists that cater to the scale of thousands. Whether it is a daytime neon Holi party or an evening Navratri event, I adjust my console output to handle the acoustics of large convention centers and open-air venues.
Festivals require a completely different approach than a club set. When I am on stage for events like Rang Leela at Manpho or a neon Holi party at WL Club, I am responsible for the energy of thousands. This means working closely with live dhol players, managing the technical requirements of large-scale stage setups, and reading the crowd from a massive stage rather than a booth.
