Signature Mehndi Designs and Artistic Styles
Explore a selection of my favourite designs, from intricate bridal peacocks to modern, jewellery-inspired patterns. See the level of detail and rich color I bring to every hand.
This intricate design features a majestic peacock with detailed feather work, complemented by a bold, shaded lotus at the wrist. It's a perfect example of traditional Indian mehndi art, ideal for guests who want a statement piece for a wedding or festival.
I love creating contrast with bold, filled-in patterns and delicate linework. This design combines hearts, lotuses, and geometric grids for a modern yet traditional look that really stands out.
This video shows the beautiful, dark stain of a completed design after the henna paste has been removed. You can see the full coverage from palm to wrist, featuring classic peacock and floral motifs that look stunning from every angle.
For a touch of elegance, I create jewellery-inspired designs like this one. It features delicate hanging jhumka (earring) motifs on the fingers and a detailed cuff pattern, giving the illusion of wearing ornate hand jewellery.
I often incorporate spiritual and symbolic elements into my designs. This piece features a Shivling, Trishul, and other sacred symbols, with a band of decorated elephants at the wrist, making it perfect for religious festivals and ceremonies.
A popular choice for Rakshabandhan, this design features matching lotus mandalas on both palms. I can also personalize your mehndi by hiding a name within the pattern, like the name "Shivam" you see here.
There's nothing like sharing the joy of a mehndi ceremony with friends and family. Here, you can see how I create a variety of coordinated designs for the bride and her guests, making for beautiful group photos.
About Featured
Notice the contrast between the bold, dark lines and the fine, delicate shading in these photos. This is a technique I use to ensure the pattern looks rich and defined even from a distance, which is perfect for wedding photos or festival gatherings.
When you look through these photos, you are seeing my signature approach to mehndi. I focus on high-contrast lines and dense fill-ins, which help the design pop against the skin. My work blends traditional elements like peacocks, elephants, and lotus motifs with modern requests such as religious symbols or even initials hidden in the jaal work.
A major part of my service is the quality of the stain. I use triple-sifted henna powder, and I always apply a lemon and sugar sealant spray after the application. This helps the colour develop into a deep, rich maroon. For the best result, keep the dry henna away from water for at least 6 to 8 hours.
Whether you are planning for a wedding, a religious festival like Janmashtami, or just a family function, I can tailor the design to the mood. I am based in Pitampura, but I travel across Delhi NCR to provide services at your location. If you want a design that combines neatness, durability, and artistic detail, let’s talk.
