About this collection
These designs rely on bold outlines and open space, which makes the henna stain look richer and more defined. It is a great choice if you want intricate details without the heaviness of a traditional full-arm bridal pattern.
For those who prefer a contemporary aesthetic, my modern mehndi style focuses on balance. By using negative space, we allow your skin to contrast with the henna, making the patterns stand out.
What makes this style different?
- Negative Space: Unlike traditional 'bhara hua' (filled) designs, we leave gaps. This makes the overall design look less crowded and highlights the main motifs.
- 3D Floral Patterns: I use shading techniques to give roses and lotus flowers a 3D effect. It adds depth and a realistic touch that flat lines cannot achieve.
- Geometric Accents: Clean, sharp lines, squares, and jaal (net) work provide a structured, architectural feel to your hands.
Practical Details
This is a faster process than my signature Rajwada or bridal work. These designs usually take about 3 hours. It is ideal for pre-wedding functions like a Sangeet, or for guests who want something elegant but not time-consuming. I use natural henna paste, and I will show you how to use a lemon-sugar spray to help the stain darken. I am based in Pitampura, but I travel across Delhi NCR for bookings.
