Custom Wedding Wardrobes for Your Big Day
Your wedding outfit should be as unique as your love story. I create custom wardrobes—from intricate bridal lehengas to perfectly coordinated sherwanis—that make you look and feel exactly like yourself.
This portrait captures a truly special moment. I designed this intricate silver embroidered lehenga with a long, dramatic trail for the bride, and a coordinated blush pink sherwani for the groom, creating a picture of pure elegance.
For the modern groom, I design outfits for every function. This includes a blush pink kurta for the Mehndi, a midnight black rhinestone sherwani for the Sangeet, and a stunning salmon pink hand-embroidered ensemble for the wedding ceremony.
A royal look for a wedding in Jodhpur. I styled the groom in an old rose sherwani with a dull gold zardozi angarkha, creating a look that is both regal and sophisticated, perfectly complementing the bride's ensemble.
Designing white wedding gowns is my first love. This video showcases some of my favorite bridal creations, from the initial sketch to the final fitting, featuring delicate lace, flowing tulle, and intricate embroidery.
Whether you envision a classic ballgown, a modern fishtail silhouette, or a traditional A-line dress, I can create the perfect white wedding gown for you. Here are a few examples of my custom bridal designs.
It was an honor to be part of the Ambani wedding, a true spectacle. I designed hundreds of costumes for the 'Valley of Gods' performance, using silks in shades of ink blue, jade green, and magenta, all woven with love.
This is a behind-the-scenes look at the massive undertaking for the Ambani wedding performance. From mood boards and fabric swatches to final fittings, my team and I worked for months to create over 500 stunning costumes.
Capturing the beautiful moments of a wedding I styled. From the vibrant Mehndi to the grand Pheras and the energetic Sangeet, I ensure the groom looks his absolute best for every single event.
About Bespoke Wedding Wardrobes
When we start, I don't just ask what you want to wear—I ask how you want to move. Whether it’s a heavy zardozi lehenga or a flowing Portuguese lace gown, the garment needs to be as comfortable as it is beautiful. Outfit change toh banta hai, yaar, so let's plan a wardrobe that carries you from the mehndi to the pheras without a hitch.
After thirty years in the film industry, I have learned that a wedding outfit is more than just fabric and thread. It is about creating a character for the most important day of your life. Whether you are walking down the aisle in a white gown with Portuguese lace or stepping onto the mandap in a regal, hand-embroidered sherwani, the goal is to make sure the clothes serve you, not the other way around.
My Approach to Your Wedding Look
I start with a conversation, not a catalog. We talk about the vibe you want for each function. Are we going for traditional, heavy zardozi for the main ceremony, or something lightweight and breathable like mulmul for the mehndi? I sketch, we discuss, and then my team and I get to work. For those wanting a mix of modern and tradition, I love upcycling cherished family sarees into new, contemporary silhouettes like pant-suits or structured jackets.
The Process
Quality takes time. For a fully custom ensemble, we typically go through 3-4 fittings. We start with a muslin fit to ensure the shape is perfect, followed by trials in the actual fabric. This is where we catch the little things—a hemline that needs adjusting, or a shoulder that needs a bit more room for you to dance comfortably at your sangeet.
For the Groom
I believe grooms should look just as sharp as brides. I focus on coordinated looks so you and your partner complement each other perfectly in photos. From blush pink kurtas for the daytime events to deep, midnight black sherwanis for the evening, we make sure every detail is spot on. If you have a specific vision or a movie-inspired look you want to recreate, let's make it happen. My studio in Mumbai is open, and I travel across India to ensure your look is ready before the first guest arrives.
