About this collection
We build our Lippan art on 8mm to 12mm thick MDF or plywood panels, not directly on your wall. This makes the art sturdy, easy to transport, and ready to mount on any wall or ceiling. Because we prepare these panels in our workshop, we keep the mess out of your home during installation.
Traditional Lippan Art with a Modern Twist
Lippan art is all about texture and reflection. We use traditional clay relief techniques from Kutch, but we adapt them for modern Bengaluru interiors. Every line is hand-rolled, and every mirror is placed by hand. This is not mass-produced factory work.
Built to Last
Since we create these panels in our workshop, we ensure the base—either 8mm or 12mm plywood—is treated for indoor use. Once the clay work is finished and the mirrors are inlaid, we apply a protective finish. This makes the art durable, unlike raw mud work that might crumble or gather dust.
