About this collection
You do not need to be an artist to make this work. I provide all the supplies—the clay dough, mirrors, MDF bases, and paints—and bring them directly to your office or studio. You just show up, get your hands a little messy, and leave with a finished wall piece that looks like you spent weeks on it.
Lippan art is a traditional craft from Gujarat that feels like a form of meditation. It involves creating intricate patterns on a surface using clay and adding glass mirrors for that signature sparkle. In my workshops, I break this down into a simple, step-by-step process that anyone can follow.
The Workshop Experience
We start with a blank MDF board and use molded clay to create 3D relief outlines. This is the part where people usually say they aren't 'creative'—but once you start rolling the clay and placing the mirrors, the design takes a life of its own. It is a very tactile experience. You will spend about 120 minutes with me, focusing on your piece, tuning out the noise, and just enjoying the process. Whether you want to make a geometric mandala or a more organic folk pattern, I am right there to guide your hand.
Why Teams Love This
This is one of my favorite corporate activities because it levels the playing field. When you are focused on smoothing out a line of clay or catching a mirror at the right angle, the office hierarchy just disappears. It is a great way to bond without those awkward, forced icebreakers.
Logistics & Setup
I handle the messy part of the setup—newspapers, protective sheets, and adhesives—so you do not have to worry about cleaning up. I have hosted these sessions for companies like SRF Limited and Emaar India, and the feedback is always the same: people walk in stressed and walk out with something tangible and beautiful. If you are looking for a creative break that actually feels like a break, this is it.
