Cozy Miniature Oil Paintings of Your Special Memories
Tiny canvases that hold big feelings. From that quiet homestay in Manali to your favourite sunset, let's paint your memories on a 3-inch canvas.
The Manali homestay painting displayed on its easel. This shows how a custom painting of a special place can become a beautiful piece of decor, always reminding you of that happy travel memory.
I painted this simple, serene landscape of a lone tree in a yellow field. It’s about finding joy in quiet moments and open spaces. The small canvas makes the big sky feel even more vast.
This peaceful field scene on its easel is ready to bring a bit of calm to any space. It’s a reminder of the simple beauty found in nature, captured with oil paints.
This sunset painting captures the beautiful, fleeting colors of a shaam (evening). I love how the warm oranges and cool purples blend together. It’s a perfect piece for anyone who wants to hold onto that magical moment of the day.
About Cozy Scenes & Memories
I work with professional-grade oil paints on 3x3 or 3x4 inch primed cotton canvases, using palette knives to build texture. Because oil paints have a slow drying time, I allow every piece to cure properly and apply a gloss or satin varnish to protect the surface before it leaves my studio.
There is something truly special about holding a memory in the palm of your hand. My miniature paintings aren't about capturing a perfect photographic replica. They are about bottling up a feeling—the warmth of a shaam (evening), the stillness of a mountain lake, or that cozy corner of a homestay where you finally felt at peace.
Why Miniatures?
Because they are small, they are meant to be kept close. Whether you place one on your work desk, a bookshelf, or give it as a thoughtful gift, these pieces don't demand a large wall. They just exist quietly, offering a little pause during your day. Each piece comes with its own 5-6 inch pine-wood tripod easel, so it is ready to display the moment you unwrap it.
The Process
When you share a photo with me for a custom piece, I don't just trace lines. I start with a sketch to get the proportions right, and then I use a multi-layer oil application to capture the likeness. If it is a pet portrait or a specific home, I focus on the little details that make it 'yours'.
Since I use oils, these pieces need time. For standard landscapes, I usually need 3-5 days, but for detailed custom work involving specific architecture or pets, I take about 7-10 days. This ensures the layers are stable and the finish is protected. Every piece is wrapped in kraft paper with twine and a handwritten note, because receiving art should feel like a gift, even if you bought it for yourself.
