I transform blank walls into tactile stories using 3D sculpting, ceramic textures, and heritage-inspired motifs. See how art and architecture breathe together in this collection of my most impactful work.

This mural, created for Birla Evam in Pune, is a celebration of Maharashtrian heritage. Every detail, from the figures in the courtyard to the architectural elements of the Wada, was sculpted and painted to tell a story of community and tradition, bringing cultural memory into a modern space.

For a sacred space, I created this serene lotus mural to exist in harmony with light and belief. The flowers and leaves are individually sculpted and layered to create a sense of three-dimensional depth and tranquility, making the art feel like it's breathing within the arched niche.

This project began by solving a problem: a previous mural that had failed. I believe art must be built on strength, so we first reinforced the wall structure before creating this new, nature-inspired design with durable ceramic and epoxy elements, ensuring it would last for decades.

Abstract art is a conversation between form, color, and the space it inhabits. This large-scale abstract painting was designed for a contemporary Mumbai apartment, using geometric shapes and subtle textures to anchor the living area with a sense of modern sophistication and quiet energy.

My name is Hansa Sewani, and with over 30 years of experience, I founded Artistic Impressions to merge art with architecture. I believe art should harmonize with a space, reflecting the lives of those who inhabit it. This is a glimpse into my philosophy and how I collaborate with clients to bring their vision to life.

Inspired by the timeless elegance of Persian and Mughal motifs, this symmetrical 3D mural was designed for a master bedroom. The sculpted floral garlands are crafted to create a feeling of refined heritage and calm, transforming the wall into a statement of quiet luxury.

The beauty of sculptural art is in the details you can almost feel. This close-up of the lotus mural shows the delicate, hand-sculpted texture of each petal and the subtle color shading that brings the flower to life, creating a tactile experience that goes beyond a flat surface.

Executing a 14-foot heritage mural for a client like Birla Evam in just 10 days required immense preparation and teamwork. This view shows the completed artwork in its intended environment, demonstrating how large-scale, culturally significant art can define and elevate a corporate space.

About Featured

Many people worry that 3D wall art is fragile or high-maintenance. That’s why I don't just paint; I sculpt. I use a reinforced mesh armature and durable ceramic pastes that are designed to handle the humidity in Mumbai and Pune. Before I commit to a final design, I create a 2x2 ft physical sample board so you can actually touch the texture and see how it catches the light in your specific space.

Art is not just to be seen; it is meant to be felt. After 35 years of working with surfaces, I have learned that the best wall art is built, not just applied. Whether it is a heritage-inspired relief mural for a corporate lobby or a minimalist abstract texture for a contemporary Mumbai living room, my process remains the same: intentional, grounded, and durable.

My practice centers on merging art with architecture. This collection highlights the range of my work, from complex, large-scale installations to subtle, layered 3D sculptures. I work with natural materials like ceramic paste, marble powder, and occasionally sadhuchi mati (clay), ensuring that every piece—whether a floral relief or an abstract geometric form—is structurally sound.

I believe the collaboration phase is where the real work happens. I work alongside you and your interior designers to understand the room's proportions, the light sources, and your personal story. We start with sketches and material tests so there are no surprises when the final installation begins. If you are looking to move beyond flat paint and add depth, strength, and narrative to your walls, let’s discuss what we can build together.
