The Process
For my wooden portraits, I source natural mango wood slices, which means no two pieces are identical. The raw bark edges add a rustic charm that pairs perfectly with the stylized, cartoon-like portraits I paint. I finish these with multiple layers of varnish to protect them, so they stay vibrant on your desk or shelf.
Spiritual and Devotional Art
My canvas paintings, especially the ones featuring deities like Shiva or Krishna, are a form of meditation for me. I use heavy-body acrylics and oils to create texture and depth. Clients often choose these to create a peaceful, meditative corner in their homes. These larger pieces require 15 to 25 hours of work, as I focus on the intricate details of the jewelry and expressions.
