Many people wonder how we manage a portrait in just 10 minutes. The truth is, it took us 18 years of practice to develop the focus and speed to get your features right while you watch. We use high-grade Faber-Castell and Staedtler pencils on 200 GSM paper, so your sketch is not just a quick souvenir—it is a piece of art that lasts.
When you visit our stall at India Gate, near Underpass No. 1, you aren't just getting a drawing; you are getting a front-row seat to the process. Whether you want a realistic portrait or a fun caricature, we start with a light outline and layer in the shading, capturing your expression live.
We work daily from 5 PM to 10 PM. If you are worried about the weather or the busy crowd, don't be—we have our own lighting setup to keep the work steady even after the sun goes down.
We also know that 10 minutes is a short time, but for us, it is the result of years of 'live' experience. We don't use templates or shortcuts. We use thick, high-quality paper and fixative sprays to ensure your sketch doesn't smudge when you carry it home. If you are visiting Delhi or just taking a stroll, come find us. It’s a simple setup—a couple of stools, our art display, and our pencils—but it is where we love to work.
