Festive Decor, Handmade
When Diwali rolls around, you’ll find me surrounded by paints and terracotta diyas. These artistic Diwali diyas are covered in bright colours and detailed mandala patterns. Each one is slightly different, since I paint them by hand. They look especially pretty once you light them up during the festival.
How I Work
I use thick, textured paper and watercolours for bookmarks - the backgrounds always come out a bit different, which I love. For diyas, I use acrylics so the colours stay bright. Everything is made at a slow, steady pace, just me and my paints.

My Story
Hi, I'm Ayshwarya. Art is just... my thing. It’s how I connect everything around me. Shifted from Bangalore to Kochi, carrying my paints and a bunch of half-finished ideas. Some days, I feel like that phoenix I painted - gotta restart, rise up, try again. I get lost in the tiny details, whether it’s a galaxy-coloured mandala or a Kalamkari piece. Kerala’s heritage, especially Theyyam and Kathakali, keeps me inspired. Even a small bookmark makes me happy. Every piece is a bit of my story.
