Featured Art and Hand-Painted Works
A look at my latest work, blending traditional Kerala heritage with cosmic, modern themes. Every piece here is hand-painted and created with care.
This painting captures the fiery spirit of the Phoenix, a symbol of rebirth and resilience. I used a vibrant palette of reds and yellows against a deep blue background to create a sense of energy and hope. This piece is hand-painted on a canvas board, ready to bring a powerful statement to any room.
Here is a close-up portrait of a Kathakali performer, a classical dance-drama from Kerala. I focused on the dramatic expression and the bold, traditional makeup, using Fevicryl acrylics on an 8x8 inch canvas to bring this powerful character to life.
I combined the calming structure of a mandala with the dreamy colors of a nebula in this galaxy-themed piece. The intricate patterns are drawn with fine-tipped markers, blending shades of purple, pink, and blue to create a design that feels both cosmic and meditative.
This piece is my interpretation of Kalamkari, a traditional Indian art of hand-painting on textiles. I created this intricate peacock design, focusing on the detailed feather patterns and warm, earthy tones that are characteristic of this beautiful art form.
This artwork is inspired by Theyyam, a sacred ritual performance from Kerala where artists embody deities. I wanted to capture the divine intensity of the performer's face, using bold reds and intricate patterns to represent the elaborate costume and makeup.
I love making art that you can use every day, like this hand-painted galaxy bookmark. It features the different phases of the moon against a cosmic backdrop of stars and nebulae, created with deep blue and purple inks. It's a small piece of the universe to hold your place in a book.
About Featured
Everything you see here is hand-painted by me using quality acrylics on canvas or heavyweight paper. When you order a canvas piece like these, I use rigid boards that are ready to display once you frame them. If you are looking for something smaller, my handmade bookmarks and mini canvases are the perfect way to add a bit of artistic detail to your desk or home without needing much wall space.
I create art to tell stories, whether it is the intense, mythological expressions of a Kathakali face or the quiet, meditative flow of a galaxy mandala. My process is entirely manual. I do not use prints. Each piece you see on this board is an original created by me.
Traditional Kerala & Folk Art
My traditional pieces focus on precision. When I paint a Theyyam or a peacock in the Kalamkari style, I pay close attention to the intricate line work that gives these forms their identity. These usually go on 8x8 or 10x10 inch rigid canvas boards. They are vibrant, durable, and sealed with varnish to keep the colors bright.
Galaxy & Mandala Designs
These are my personal favorites. I use fine-tipped markers and quality artist paper to get those deep, layered colors. They take time to build up, but that is where the calming detail comes from. Whether you want a galaxy theme or a classic monochrome mandala, I can adapt the design to your preference.
Ordering & Customization
If you like a style you see here but want different colors or a specific subject, we can customize that. Just message me with your idea. Once we settle on a design, I usually need about 4 to 7 days to paint, varnish, and dry your piece before it is ready to ship. Everything is secured with cardboard backing and bubble wrap to make sure it reaches you safely.
