About Natural Beetroot Lip Care
Most commercial lip balms rely on petroleum jelly or synthetic waxes that sit on top of your skin. My beetroot balm uses unbleached yellow beeswax harvested from our own apiary and cold-pressed coconut oil. It is a dense, nourishing formula that stays on for hours, providing a sheer, buildable berry-pink stain that works just as well as a natural cheek tint.
When I started Arthlings, I wanted to move away from the 'fancy bottles' filled with chemicals. My beetroot lip care range is the result of that transition. We start at our farm in Baijnathpur, where we cultivate the beetroots that give these balms their vibrant colour. We don't use artificial dyes or mineral oils here. Instead, we combine the organic beetroot extract with raw, unbleached beeswax. This creates a barrier that protects your lips from drying out, even during harsh winter months.
Because I formulate these in small, controlled batches, the texture remains rich and non-sticky. If you are someone who struggles with chapped lips or sensitive skin, this balm is a safe, simple alternative. It is essentially food-grade care for your face. I have designed this to be a multi-use product. You can swipe it on your lips for a subtle pop of colour, or dab a little on your cheeks for a natural, flushed look.
