About Glow-in-the-Dark Moon Lamp Workshops
This is a hands-on session that goes beyond simple painting. We spend about three hours working with modeling paste to create craters and textures, followed by the painting process. Because we are working with materials that need to set, it is a slower, more meditative activity than a standard paint party, which makes it perfect for groups who want to really sink into a creative project.
How the Workshop Works
I come to your location anywhere in Bengaluru, bringing all the supplies including the 15-20cm globe, wooden stands, modeling paste, and the light units. You don’t need to worry about the setup or the mess. I handle the protective sheets and the cleanup, leaving your space exactly as I found it.
The Creative Process
We start by applying texture to the globe. This is where you get to play with the craters, making your moon look as realistic or as abstract as you like. After the texture phase, we move to the painting and detailing. I guide you through mixing the colors to achieve that perfect lunar glow. Finally, we apply a varnish to ensure your lamp lasts for years. By the end of the session, you have a functional piece of home decor that you built from scratch.
